Will Service

Legacies are vital to the ongoing security of any charity and we consider ourselves very lucky to have the support of loyal members who have pledged to leave a gift to the Centre in their Will.

However, research has found that although 74% of us support charities during our lifetime, only 7% per cent of people leave a gift to charity in their will.

To maximize these potential legacies, we have recently enlisted the support of local solicitors, McMillan Williams, to offer a Free Will Service for supporters who wished to leave a gift to SCMSTC in their Wills.

Solicitor David Hall attended the Centre on Tuesday 1st November to draft Wills free of charge for our members. So far six supporters have taken advantage of the Free Will Service and McMillan Williams have kindly agreed to extend their generous offer until Christmas.
