Self-funded and still having fun raising money

This is a vital part of our organisation as we are an entirely self-funded group. The major part of our income is generated from various fundraising events. These include: store collections, quiz nights, flag days and sponsored events.

If you, your friends
or family would like
to make a donation to
our centre you can do so in one of three ways.

1. Just send us a cheque made payable to SCMSTC and post it to the address on the FIND US page.

2. You can make a donation now via justgiving.com/scmstc by clicking their logo below.

3. You can come to one of our fundraising events. If you would like to be kept informed by email click here and we will add you to our list.

Do remember if you are a UK tax payer we can reclaim the tax paid on your donation if you just complete this Gift Aid form.

Some our more energetic and fearless members have been involved in treks across Snowdonia being carried in their wheelchair, or have been involved in cycling sponsorships.

One member has offered to give tours of London, with others making up sweet and cake bags and selling them at work. We also regularly have stalls at local village fetes and are supported by several local schools and Scout groups.

We are always looking for new ideas and embrace new challenges whether you are a member or a volunteer who wishes to suggests some new area of fundraising. We ask our members to help where they can and the response from them has been vital in our fundraising success. If you've got a great idea please email us with it.

All in all many of these events can turn into a bit of a social occasion with everyone enjoying themselves whilst bringing in much needed and necessary funds to our centre.
